Vivo has performed another great feat in the month of November 2018 by releasing a new high-power smartphone. As I write this, Vivo X23 Symphony Edition is up for pre-order and it will be shipping on the 23rd of November 2018.
Basically, at the sight of the name of the smartphone, fans expect nothing less when you think of what a smartphone should stand for.

Design and Display of Vivo X23 Symphony Edition
Body design of this device is metal. Dimensions are 157.6 x 75.4 x 7.1 mm but its weight is unspecified yet. Colors of the device are arctic pink and starry black. Although it is not a water resistant device, it’s got fingerprint sensor and face recognition technology.
Display type is Super AMOLED capacitive multi-touch screen of 16 million colors. It has no secondary display. The screen size is 6.18 inches. However, the pixel density is 402 ppi, pixels resolution is 2340 x 1080, and aspect ratio is 19.5:9. Also, the screen to body ratio is 85.2. Other features are waterdrop notch display and Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Camera Features
Vivo X23 Symphony Edition camera features include dual 12 MP plus 13 MP f/1.8 plus f/2.4 aperture. These come with LED flash. At the front there is a single secondary camera of 25 MP/2.0 aperture , which arrives without LED flash. Furthermore, these cameras have video performance of 1080p@30fps.
Other camera features are geotagging, auto focus, A.I Camera, A.R stickers, HDR, touch focus, face detection, and panorama.
Hardware and Software
Android OS v8.1 Oreo runs in Vivo X23 Symphony Edition. User interface is Funtouch OS 4.5. This software is able to upgrade its firmware to the latest Android 9 Pie. Further, there is Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 with process technology 12nm and 64-bit architecture. Similarly, the CPU is Octa-core 4 x 2.2 GHz Kyro 260 plus 4 x 1.84 GHz Kyro 260, while the GPU is Adreno 512.
Storage Capacity and Sensors
Vivo X23 Symphony Edition has internal memory of 4GB of RAM. This memory cannot be increased but the internal memory of 128GB cannot be increased either because there is no microSD card slot.
The sensors in Vivo X23 Symphony Edition are accelerometer, proximity, gyro, compass, infrared face recognition, and fingerprint.
Network and Connectivity
The Vivo X23 Symphony Edition smartphone supported networks are GSM, CDMA, HSPA, and LTE. In this way, the device is able to operate on 2G, 3G, and 4G internet networks. There are two SIM card slots for the device to do this effectively.
Other connectivity components are Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, headphone jack, and micro USB 2.0. However, Vivo X23 Symphony Edition is devoid of infrared, NFC, and HDMI.
