Vivo Y93 – The first smartphone to use the Snapdragon 439 chip will be released in November

Recently, a Vivo smartphone has suddenly appeared on the website China Telecom – China called Vivo Y93 and running the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor.

Qualcomm has released three models of mobile processors including Snapdragon 429, Snapdragon 439 and Snapdragon 632 in June this year. Honor 8C and Meizu Note 8 are the first devices to be equipped with the Snapdragon 632 chipset. However, to date, there have not been any smartphones released with the other two chips. As known, the Snapdragon 439 is a 14nm chipset including four Cortex-A73 quad-core 1.9GHz quad-core and Cortex-A53 quad-core 1.45GHz cores, combined with the Adreno 505 GPU.

Back to Vivo Y93, this phone will be equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. It is expected to be released in China on November 15th at a price of 1,598 yuan ($230). The device has two color options – Red (Zixia Red) and Black (Starry Night Black).

The Vivo Y93 features a 6.2-inch teardrop design that supports HD + (720 x 1520 pixels) resolution. The battery pack comes with a 3935mAh battery but it is unclear whether it will support fast charging. In addition, this phone does not seem to have a fingerprint sensor but rather a face unlock feature.
