VKworld Mix 2 – Review
The VKworld Mix 2 was released last month by the Chinese OEM as the update to the VKworld Mix Plus. But we can’t help but notice how it looks like the Mi Mix 2 from Xiaomi. VKworld Mix 2 is bezel-less with lots of specs update, culled from its predecessor. The Mix series is popular among Chinese OEMs, this where they show off their bezel-less phones typically with no top notch. Without further ado, lets see what the VKworld Mix 2 has in store for us today.
Design
Made from exquisite smooth metal that was crafted to perfection, the VKworld Mix 2 is a stunner. The back is covered with glass, so you have to be careful of falls. Nonetheless, the glass helps in making the phone look beautiful and reflecting light magically.

The dual rear camera are horizontal at the top left with the dual-LED flash right beside it. There’s no rear fingerprint scanner here, i can only spot the VKworld logo. The phone measures 8.5mm slim and weighs about 190g with the battery. Furthermore, i’m really obsessed with the design, its dual nano-sim compatible and available in Blue and Black colors.
Display
Bezel-less all the way to the top, with no top notch insight, offering a 178° viewing angle. So the physical home button at the bottom bezel doubles as the fingerprint sensor as well. The Galaxycore selfie camera is also at the bottom bezel, since there’s no top notch.
The 6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen boasts of a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. Trust me, watching movies and playing video games with the Mix 2 will be so much fun. It boasts of sharp screen details, thanks to the 402 pixel per inch density. For protection, the Corning Gorilla Glass on top offers scratch resistant.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood is the MediaTek Helio P25 MT6757CD chipset couple with Octa-core processor. The processor reaches a clock speed of 2.5GHz, which is brilliant for a fast performance. It has 64-Bit CPU architecture and 16nm process technology, for a smooth ride. In terms of graphics, the ARM Mali-T880 MP2 with 4-Cores is full control and reaching a speed of 900Hz.
This smartphone is fast and stays fast for a long time, you can play the most demanding games. Not just that, i mean with 6GB of RAM and a memory speed of 1600MHz, you can multitask with ease. Not just any apps, launch heavy game apps and see how smooth and fast it is to switch between them. For storage, there’s a massive 128GB internal storage upgradeable to 256GB using the Sim 2 slot. The VKworld Mix 2 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with modified user interface.
Camera
Equipped with three cameras, dual rear camera and a single selfie camera for selfies. The dual rear 13MP + 13MP shooters can capture 4K resolution images, with image dimensions of 4160 x 3120 pixels. Both camera has f/2.0 aperture, 5P Lens, white balance settings, touch focus, auto focus and other features. VKworld Mix 2 boasts of a video resolution of 1080 pixels @ 30 frames per second.
Battery
VKworld Mix 2 houses a 4200mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. Comes with fast battery charging feature which shouldn’t take more than 2.5 hours to charge from 0% to 100%.
