WhatsApp has just received a new feature from Netflix!

There is no doubt that WhatsApp remains one of the most used communication platforms in the world, although Telegram starts to follow it closely. It is in this application that we spend several hours communicating with our friends, whether by video, voice, or text. In fact, we share everything on WhatsApp, either in one-on-one chats or in groups. The latter are very handy for everyone to live together, exchange experiences in this time of quarantine and even suggest films and series to keep us entertained. The latest news is like a glove for Netflix fans and does not dispense with WhatsApp.

WhatsApp has just received a new feature from Netflix!

Until now it was possible to watch videos shared from YouTube, Facebook, or Instagram within WhatsApp. Now Netflix has joined the list of supported services. Whenever you share a link to a program or movie on this popular streaming platform, you can view all the trailer directly on WhatsApp.

To share Netflix content, go to the series or movie page you want and choose the share button. When you select WhatsApp as your destination and the movie or series comes with a trailer, it can be viewed directly in the picture-in-picture reader of the messaging application. In reality you don’t even need the Netflix app. You can immediately paste the link into the conversation so that the trailer is ready to view.

As with other videos that you can watch on WhatsApp, viewing stops when you leave this application.

This feature is active in version 2.20.123 of WhatsApp for Android, which should now be available globally. If you have it on a Huawei device without Google apps, the download is available on the APK Mirror. You can use this link to download. In the case of iOS, this is no longer a novelty. This platform received this functionality in November 2019.
