I consider myself a real Apple fangirl. I love using iMessage, I love using Animoji, FaceTime, I love AirDrop. Portrait mode is great. So my iPhone is great but I did hear a lot of great things about the Google Pixel, and I’m going to be switching over for a week to test it out. I have heard that the camera quality on Google Pixel is great.
Androids! I just think that Android people are serious and they know their stuff and they are like, “This is the best phone and this is why.” But for iPhone people, it’s like “iPhone’s so cool-looking. I love it.”
These statements above are characteristic of smartphone users. While many people still love using iPhones, it is not news that Huawei have gained an upper hand against Apple phones, which means a reduced number of people will buy iPhones in 2024 than they did in 2024. Remember also that Microsoft OS is stale now and so many apps have taken their shops out of it.
It is possible that Microsoft will explore Android instead of iOS. But more than that, Apple sold 215.8 million iPhones in 2024, while 1.244 billion Android smartphones were shipped that same year. In real life, people move from iOS to Android and vice versa all the time. A brief survey about the reasons why people switch from Android to iOS and also from iOS to Android was conducted on some more than 200 people and it was seen that some of the reasons why people switched from one phone maker to another has to do with things such as price, user-friendly interface, more apps, better features, and better customer service.
