The Wiko Y81 is a new budget smartphone and a pretty one at that. The phone has a decent body with a combo cameras setup and a large screen display. It also has a large battery that will last longer and then an average inbuilt memory which is still not bad considering the $85 price tag.
Design And Display
On the body, the Wiko Y81 has a smooth panel where you will find the vertically placed camera alongside an LED flash and also the speaker and the branded logo. It measures 157.9 x 76.1 x 8.3 mm in dimensions and weighs 166 grams.
Meanwhile, on the front, the phone has a small drop notch and a thick bezel at the bottom of the screen. It offers a screen display size of 6.2 inches, a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels, a 19:9 ratio, and 268 PPI density. The screen is equipped with IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, a corning gorilla glass 3, and an 81.5% screen-to-body ratio.

There is a combo camera setup on the entry-level smartphone. The backside consists of a single snapper of 13 MP that features Autofocus, Continuous shooting, Digital zoom, Geotagging, Panorama, and HDR. It also has 1080p@30fps video resolution and an LED flash. Completing it two cameras is the 5 MP on the front which is for selfies and video calling. The camera also has FaceID and Face Beautification.

Rocking the inside is a Mediatek MT6761D Helio A20 chipset built on a 12nm process node and it has a quad-core processor clocking at a speed of 1.8GHz Cortex-A53. The Wiko Y81 also packs PowerVR GE8320 GPU for graphics and it runs on the Android 10 operating system but based on Go Edition.
Storage Capacity And Sensors
The internal memory is 32GB and it has 2GB RAM for a smooth performance. You can further expand the storage using a micro SDcard up to 64GB. There is no fingerprint scanner on the Wiko Y81, instead, it has Accelerometer and proximity.
Battery Power And Network Connectivity
The Wiko Y81 has a non-removable battery of 4000 mAh without fast charging technology. However, the battery will last up to 2 days of normal usage. On the network, it has dual SIMs and 4G LTE. Other options include GPS, FM radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, and Micro USB 2.0.
