Xiaomi released its set of Walkie Talkies recently under its Mijia brand and these devices have grown to be very popular today. This has built the company a level of reputation along with those of its other ecosystem companies. Earlier today, the Bluetooth SIG website made known that Xiaomi is planning to release a new Walkie Talkie and it will be known as then Mi Walkie Talkie Lite.
The Walkie Talkie got its certification close to the end of May and it has been labeled “XMDJJL01” as its model number. According to the description, the Mi Walkie Talkie Lite is an “entry-level walkie-talkie that is extremely cost-effective.” Other features of the device include the intercom function, “APP editing channels and settings,” “power query” and even “batch configuration.”
Xiaomi will launch the Mi Walkie-Talkie Lite with Bluetooth. The feature should be very useful w in case you want to connect the device to a headphone.
For now, we do not have any information on when the device will be announced or launched. However, we would love it if Xiaomi launches the device outside of China as well. On previous models, people have had to import the walkie talkies to their countries. As such, it would be a great idea for Xiaomi to launch this inexpensive model globally.
