Some time ago, Xiaomi began the global deployment of the official version of its long-awaited MIUI 9 operating system, and some devices had the privilege of getting it right at launch. The new information that runs through the internet now suggests that the Xiaomi Mi 5 and the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus have been added to the list of devices that will feature this next-generation operating system, even though they were released to the market last year.
MIUI 9 reaches the Xiaomi Mi 5 and the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus
The update with which the Xiaomi Mi 5 will get will be the MIUI 9.1.1.0 NAAMIEI, with an approximate size of 571MB, while the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus will feature the ROM of MIUI 9.1.1.0 NBGMIEI with a moderate capacity of 1.3 GB. Despite the differences in size with which these two versions count, most of the new features that come with this operating system will reach both smartphones in the same way, so its size will be sidelined in some aspects.
This update will have improvements compared to the previous versions since it has a new screen format, a completely redesigned home page, a better folder cleaner, an optimized system speed of decryption and solutions concerning the problems encountered about language support. About the camera and the animated icons that are on the home screen, both features have received a welcome update, and all thanks to the new operating system of Xiaomi – MIUI 9.
