The body build of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 and iPad 9.7 is a front glass with an aluminum body. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 weighs 342.5 grams and measures 7.9 mm in thickness. I think most people don’t buy into the tablet ideology cause of its staggering weight. The iPad 9.7 measures 7.5 mm in thickness while the Wi-Fi and LTE weigh differently. Both tablets feature an IPS LCD panel. The panel on the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 measures 8.0 inch. While the panel on the iPad measures 9.7 inches hence its name. The IPS LCD panel on iPad 9.7 features a LED-backlit.

The display of the Mi Pad 4 features 77.1% screen-to-body ratio, 16:10 ratio, 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution and 283 pixels per inch density. Whereas, the display of the iPad 9.7 features 71.6% screen-to-body ratio, 4:3 ratio,1536 x 2048 pixels resolution and 264 pixels per inch density. The iPad 9.7 features better display specs than the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4.

Powering the iPad 9.7 is Apple A10 Fusion chipset, PowerVR Series7XT Plus (six-core graphics) graphics processing unit and 4-core processor. For the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, an Adreno 512 graphics processing unit, and 8-core processor.

The iPad 9.7 runs on iOS 11.3 with 2GB memory and either 32GB or 128GB storage. While the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 runs MIUI 9.0 skin, which is overlaid on Android 8.1 Oreo.
