The new Smartwatch in town is coming from Xiaomi. The company debuted an Apple lookalike smartwatch. They copied Apple, but there’s nothing we can do about it. The Xiaomi Mi watch is looking nice and adorable. To cap it all, it’s cheaper than what Apple has been giving us.

Xiaomi Mi Watch Design
On the body, the design isn’t original. The smartwatch is built with a square touchscreen display protected by sapphire Corning gorilla glass 3. It has a 1.78-inch AMOLED curved display with 326 PPI. Meanwhile, the back is made of ceramic.
You will also notice a crown on the right that can be used to navigate through the watch UI. Furthermore, there is a multi-purpose button as well as a microphone on the right side. The left side is where you will find another microphone hole along with a speaker vent.
The overall body features aluminum alloy with a matte finish that packs sharper curves than what we see at the Apple watch. The bottom is where you will find the pins for the charging dock and the heart rate monitor.
The Xiaomi Mi Watch offers removable straps made out of fluoro rubber. The smartwatch is available in amazing colors such as blue, silver, and black.
Hardware And Software
On the inside, there is a Snapdragon Wear 3100 4G chipset featuring four Cortex A7 cores handling its assignment at a speed of 1.2GHz. The company claims this is the first wearable to feature Snapdragon 3100 4G.
Another major highlight which is also the top-selling point of the watch is the battery capacity of 570mAh. In comparison, this is better than what we have on the Huawei Watch GT 2, the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 and even the Apple Watch Series 5.
The juicer on the watch promise to last up to 36 hours or up to two days on a single charge. Other features on the Xiaomi Mi Watch include NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi (n), GPS, an independent vibration motor and a large speaker.
Just like other modern watches, the watch has support for eSIM which you can use to access the internet and also make and receive calls.
Other Features
Another surprisingly move here is that the Xiaomi Mi Watch has support for Google WearOS. The operating system has customized MIUI for Watch skin. There’s also Xiaomi’s own XiaoAI assistant integrated on the inside.
The Xiaomi Mi Watch also has support for heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen VO2 max sensor, sleep monitoring, and body energy monitoring. It’s also both dust and water-resistant as well. This is to say, the watch is safe for swimming as well.
It also has its built-in app store that features + optimized apps for the new watch such as WeChat, and Keep (fitness). Since it supports NFC, payment can be made on the watch as well in China. It’s also capable of controlling smart home appliances at your home.
