The ZTE Axon 10s Pro 5G doesn’t only have one of these new processors, it’s a device that has top quality features across board and this makes it a flagship by its own right.

Axon 10s Pro 5G Design
This device measures 73.4 x 159.2 x 7.9 mm while weighing just 175 grams. Now, if that is not up to 200 grams, it is not a bad deal for a smartphone that’s not a rugged one. Please find the fingerprint at the rear of the phone. For now, the smartphone only comes in blue color. Other design aspects show three cameras to the rear.
Axon 10s Pro 5G Display
The display size is 6.47 AMOLED touchscreen technology. It’s a single display as there is no secondary display. The screen offers a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and gives a full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Also, it is clear that the display neatly curves towards the left and right edges of the device.
Processor
Of course, there is something new here. However, the processor may not be the most powerful but it is good, with the latest features. Axon 10s Pro 5G comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. We are told that this will pair with the X55 modem in this device. This processor is also the best for 5G modes that are standalone and non-standalone.
Storage
Axon 10s Pro 5G comes in variants of 6 GB/128 GB and 12 GB/256 GB which most definitely attract different sizes. That is for the RAM and the internal storage. However, there is space for microSD card on the external side to assist in increasing storage space for the user. The phone packs LPDDR5 RAM and UFS3.0 flash storage.
Battery Quality
ZTE made it good by making sure this smartphone is empowered by a 4000 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery that has wireless and fast charging features. As a 5G smartphone, is a 4000 mAh battery good enough? Maybe.
Speaker and Call Quality
It is the usual expectation of loudspeakers with active noise cancellation and a dedicated mic for the Axon phone. However, we expect that sound will compare to the ones that come with Axon 10 Pro and Axon 10 Pro 5G.
Software Features & Sensors
This device is Android 9.0 Pie empowered. Why this smartphone is not Android 10 still beats me. But I believe that it will soon receive Android 10 firmware upgrade for sure. There are various sensors for the Axon 10s Pro 5G. Proximity, light, accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, geomagnetic, fingerprint, hall, gravity, and in-display fingerprint sensors are found on the smartphone.
Camera, Video, and Image Quality
This is one very important aspect of the Axon 10s Pro 5G smartphone. As mentioned previously, this device comes with three cameras to the rear. The main camera is 48 MP, there are another 20 MP and 8 MP sensor. As we expected, the 20 MP camera is the ultra-wide sensor, but the 8 MP is the telephoto camera with optical zoom capabilities of up to 3x.
However, at the front, the camera is a 20 MP shooter which is not bad at all. Other features included flash, panorama, and others.
Axon 10s Pro 5G Price
The price ZTE Axon 10s Pro 5G starts from $765. You may have to check from sales websites to websites to get the best price. The cheaper price may also mean that the storage is lower than the more expensive device. That price puts the phone up higher than premium mid-range smartphones. However, anyone who is able to get a pre-order deal could be in good hands when it comes to price reduction.
Verdict
Axon 10s Pro 5G is a good phone. Many smartphones receive praise when in actuality, they hide old features in things such as Bluetooth, the USB, and others. This device boasts only the latest in these areas. Trust me, this sound is also marvelous. There’s something golden hidden in sound quality. The display is very good as well.
However, the other thing we really can’t confirm is whether there will be another variant apart from the ones mentioned here, or whether the phone will arrive in other colors apart from blue.
