In view of the launch, the alleged images of the new device were leaked online and gave us an idea of what we can expect in tomorrow’s official announcement. Recently, BlackBerry had already released a teaser where they revealed several details about the hardware structure of the product, including the dual camera.

Increasing rumors about the new device were the well-known “leaker” Evan Blass, who on Monday published some pictures on Twitter that give an even more defined idea of the new laptop. Although there does not seem to be many changes in terms of design, the smartphone still shows significant innovations, such as the presence of the fingerprint sensor.

BlackBerry KEY2 is equipped with a dual camera on the back, where there is a rubber cover. The QWERTY keyboard of the BlackBerry KEY2 is likely to support gestures. On the top, the smartphone can have a 3.5 mm audio jack, while on the bottom there is a USB Type-C port. According to rumors, it seems that the phone also includes 4G LTE support and dual-SIM support.

Recently, two BlackBerry devices have been identified, both with Android 8.1 Oreo as an operating system. Both devices should be equipped with a Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor. Both of these lists should cover the BlackBerry KEY2. A variant is identified with a 4 GB RAM while the other has a 6 GB RAM. The single-core score of the 6 GB variant is 1,291, while the multi-core score is 4,838. The 4 GB RAM variant has a single-core score of 1,335 and a multi-core score of 4,948.

The details regarding prices and availability of the BlackBerry KEY2 will probably be announced at the official launch, scheduled for tomorrow.
