  • Now plug-in your iPhone X, iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus to your Mac using the lighting cable.

  • Open iTunes on your Mac.

  • Press the Volume up button for about 2 Seconds and let go, Press the volume down button for about 2 seconds and let go and then Press and hold the Side Button till you see Connect to iTunes on your phone screen.

  • Make sure your iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus is turned off.

  • Get iTunes up and running on your Mac or Windows PC.

  • Now Press and Hold the Volume Down and Plug it to your PC using the lighting cable.

  • Let go of the volume Down Button when you see the Connect to iTunes pop up on your phone screen.

How To Put Your iPhone Into Recovery Mode; iPhone 6 or earlier, iPad or iPod Touch

  • Turn off your iPhone 6 or more previous, iPad or iPod Touch.

  • Make sure iTunes is running on your Mac or Windows PC.

  • Press and Hold the home button on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and plug it in using the lighting cable.

  • Let go of the physical home button when you see Connect to iTunes pop up on your iPhone/iPad/iPod touch.
