Huawei is ready to bring more innovations into the smartphone world with the new information we are getting from the company. Now we have leaked CAD render image which shows the specifications of the incoming Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus, or Y9 Plus. In this article, we will often refer to it as the Huawei Y9 Plus.
What The Screen Will Look Like
Leaked render shows that Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus will be a 6.5 inches screen display device with TFT LCD notch display. What this tells us is that the display is going to be a high resolution type. We have already been writing about the predecessor, the Huawei Y9 2019 that also has a high screen resolution.
The display size may be 2960 x 1440, of Super AMOLED technology. It will definitely arrive in 16 million colors but there will be no secondary display for Huawei Y9.
Design and Colors
Definitely, this brand of Huawei will not be much further from the Y9 2019. For example, the leaks show that it is going to look like a bar and it is going to weigh something like 160 grams. Now that tells us that Huawei Y9 Plus will be a beautiful thin device that anyone would love to carry around.
Y9 Plus is also rumored as having rear mounted fingerprint sensor at the rear, while at the front there’s a big notch. The smartphone is made of metal.
It’s also revealed the form factor of Huawei Y9 Plus is bar shape. This is usually the best shape as the smartphone will be able to fit snugly into one’s palm. The three colors available in which the device will be presented are black, pink, and blue. Out of all these, the color that strikes me most is the pink. Women and girls may want to try that out, for they love anything that is in pink.
Expected Performance
Huawei makes sure that this device comes with a 4000 mAh non-removable battery. In the battery department, there’s nothing to show great discrepancy because the specification stated is the same for the other Y9 variants.
Android Oreo 8.1 with the latest security patch updates is the major software that powers the Y9 Plus. There will be Kirin 710 Octa-core processor to make sure its speed is sustained. Most noticeable is the report that it will have rear dual cameras and also dual selfie cameras.
The storage space for Huawei Y9 Plus is 6GB RAM of 128GB internal memory. Fortunately for space lovers, this is higher than other Huawei budget variants
These may arrive in 16 MP plus 2 MP for the selfie side and 13 MP plus 2 MP at the rear side.
Other Minor Features Expected
Of course, not everything will change between the Huawei Y9 and the Huawei Y9 Plus. But there will be new notification design, new settings menu, multi-window view (as it has always been), custom DPI support, added status bar icon options, and quick launch of third party apps.
Possible Availability and Price
As of now, there’s no evidence about when the Huawei Y9 Plus will launch the upcoming Y9 Plus smartphone. What we know is that the company is getting ready to launch Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro in the month of October 2018.
Everything here may not be same when the real device is announced.
