Wireless is the way to go although most of their (Nokia’s) device still have the what seems like an obsolete 3.5mm jack, even the new Nokia 7.1. Notwithstanding, HMD still want you to have to choice of using a wired earphones or not, thanks to their two new set of gadgets – The true wireless earbuds and Pro Wireless Earphones. The True Wireless Earbuds is the smallest of both, weighing just 5g and comes with a case which HMD says can charge the Earbuds 3 time over. Given that the earbuds lasts for about 3 hours, we are looking at a playback time of about 10+ hours.
The True Wireless Earbuds is also compatible with Bluetooth 5.0 if you have a supported device. The Earbuds are splash and sweat resistant so you don’t have worry about it while working out in the gym, that is if they don’t fall out from your ear given that they are very light. The Pro Wireless Earphones on the other hand is the cheapest of both and although it doesn’t come with a case that can charge it, it does last for about 10 hours on a single Charge. The earphones are also magnetic and snapping them together turns it off while separating them turns it on.
The True Wireless Earbuds and the Pro Wireless Earphones will both go on pre-order alongside the Nokia 7.1 and will cost you $149 for the Earbuds and $79 for the Earphones. What do you think about these earbuds/earphones ? Will you be getting one ?
