April brought the so-called successor of the iPhone SE to the market. The device stands out for being one of the cheapest iPhone ever, with a performance that makes many Android gamers jealous.
In an interview with the website 9to5Mac, Tim Cook even mentioned that he hopes that the device can attract many Android users. The Apple CEO goes even further in saying that it is “faster than the fastest Android smartphones“.
The new iPhone SE has the Bionic A13 processor
The iPhone SE comes with the iPhone 8 “shell” and most of its features. The big difference is the fact that it has the same processor as the iPhone 11, the A13 Bionic.
“It works in all geographic areas, but I hope it does better where there is less purchasing power. I hope that a reasonable number of people will migrate to iOS”, says Tim Cook.
“It is an unbelievable offer. It has the processor of our main phones, in a very affordable package, and is faster than the fastest Android smartphones. It has an exceptional value”, he concluded.
The objective was to give the public the “best deal considering the quality of the product”. The iPhone SE is not a device for everyone, but it promises to be one of the most competent and best-selling devices of the year.
