A new render image developed based on insider information has been outed of the expected Nexus Marlin and Sailfish smartphones. The image was actually reproduced by the guys at Android Police based on reliable information leaked by a source from HTC.
The image features both the front view as well as the back of the Nexus deivces whose actual names are still unknown. The devices codednamed Nexus Marlin and Nexus Sailfish (named after the Sailfish) is said to bear the same design model save for some few difference in size.
Android Police gave the leak a confidence level of 8 out of 10 which means they are sure of the information gotten from the “source”. This could well be a leaked image of he actual device anyway.
The image tells us that the Nexus Marlin and Sailfish will not feature camera humpsand will come with aluminium unibody. We can also gather from the image that both device will also come with a fingerprint scanners.
There’s also a glossy plastic layer at the back of the phone which looks like it might be made of glass and it gives the back a cool two-tone look.
We can also gather from the render image that the design of the Nexus phones bears basically no resemblance to the flagship HTC 10, and also relatively little resemblance to the current Nexus phones.
The front view of the render image shows the phones will pack a single earpiece speaker, a front-facing selfie shooter as usual, and a small sensor cluster.
