At the CES 2018 show in Las Vegas, Sony has officially introduced the next-generation large-screen smartphone, the Xperia XA2 Ultra. And right now I will proceed on a quick review of this product, to see what is “delicious” about it.
Traditional design, lightweight modern
Just like any Sony product, the Xperia XA2 Ultra is no exception when it comes to keeping its “traditional” beauty in style. The machine is square, strong, two upper borders still “hard and thick” as the day.
The only interesting feature is that the fingerprint sensor is moved to the back, just below the camera instead of integrated with the power button as before. This makes the device elegant and synchronous design from 2 sides to the front and back.
As the name suggests, the Xperia XA2 Ultra is a 6-inch high-resolution smartphone with Full HD resolution. The traditional aspect ratio is retained by Sony at 16 – 9. border, overflow the current.
It seems that many people will find it hard to see Sony too conservative on its products, but it gives the phone brand something special, outstanding when used.
Take care of camera quality
The highlight of the Xperia XA2 Ultra, which is also what Sony is most famous is the equipped dual camera cluster with a 16MP image sensor (Optical Image Stabilizer) combined with 8MP wide-angle sensor to enhance the experience selfie. In addition, the LED light is also added to Sony attention right next to it.
The rear camera is still retained by Sony from its predecessor, with a 23-megapixel image sensor, 4K video recording capability, and 120fps video playback speed. In particular, the ISO sensitivity of the Sony raised to 12,800 to enhance the ability to shoot in low light conditions.
Universal configuration
Sony equips the Xperia XA2 Ultra with a fairly standard configuration, such as the Snapdragon 630, 4GB of RAM, for excellent performance in the price range. But the thing that makes me wonder about Sony’s smartphone lineup is battery life.
Fortunately, with the screen up to 6 inches, Sony has also provided the Xperia XA2 Ultra with a massive 3580 mAh battery with Battery Care and exclusive Qnovo charging.
The sound has never been a weakness on Sony’s smartphones, and the Xperia XA2 Ultra is no exception when it comes with SmartAmp technology to enhance the sound quality.
Predict the price?
The Xperia XA2 Ultra will have four color options, including Silver, Black, Green, and Gold. Currently, Sony has not announced the price and time to market this product. However, it is expected that they will be in the amount of 370-400 USD.
Personally, the Xperia XA2 Ultra is the perfect mid-range smartphone from Sony in recent years.
