Samsung is not in the mood to rest especially since the trouble they had with the Note 7 cost them a whole lot of cash. The Samsung Galaxy C9 which was spotted earlier this year has finally appeared in a Geekbench test, and if past indications are correct, these specs are at least 90% legit.

DISPLAY & DESIGN
The new Samsung Galaxy C9 is expected to come with a 6.0 inch Super AMOLED 1080 x 1920 pixels (367 PPI pixel density) display. The device renders showcase a nice looking metal unibody design-build similar to the one found on the Galaxy J5 prime with all of Samsung’s signature design philosophy except the curved screen.
OS & HARDWARE
Samsung Galaxy C9 is expected to launch with Android Marshmallow v6.0, but Samsung has always been reliable when it came to software updates so the device is launching with Android v7.0 Nougat.
A Qualcomm MSM8976 Snapdragon 652 chipset which is an Octa-core (Quad-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A72 & Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53) paired with the Adreno 510 GPU will carry the device through daily activities without hiccups.
According to the Geekbench test the device is going to come with a whopping 6Gb of ram and 64Gb of internal storage. There are no clues if there will be a version with lesser ram and 32Gb of internal storage or just a 32Gb base storage model. The Galaxy C9 comes with a dedicated SD card expansion slot.
CAMERA & BATTERY
The Antutu Listing shows a 16 mp back camera, f/1.9 aperture, autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash and features like Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, and HDR. The front camera is also going to be 16 mp camera.
Details are still quite sketchy, and nothing is known about the battery capacity of the device, and I feel this is because Samsung had to wipe clean battery faction of their firm to the Note 7 explosion issues still we expect Samsung to use at least a 3000 mAh battery to the power device.
CONNECTIVITY, FEATURES & BATTERY
The C9 fully supports all GSM, HSPA and LTE networks as well as Wi-Fi(802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), dual-band, WiFi Direct, Hotspot, Bluetooth(v4.2, A2DP, LE ), GPS and NFC.
There will be fast battery charging, a Fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, proximity, compass and active noise cancellation with dedicated mic.
The cost of the Samsung Galaxy C9 remains unknown, but we expect it to fall in the $300-400 range. Available colours include Gold, Pink Gold, Dark Gray.
