10 Or D2 (Tenor D2) Full Review, Price, Performance and Specs

This mobile phone is called 10 Or D2. You can also call it Tenor D2. It is a smartphone that sticks to the basics, and if the buyer knows what he or she wants, 10 Or D2 may just be what is needed for optimal performance.

Introduction to 10 Or D2

The giant tech merchant known as Amazon India is the first to introduce 10. Or a brand of phones in 2024. On the 27th of August 2018 the 10. Or D2 device was listed on sale right there on Amazon India. As at the time of this review, you won’t find it on most other popular smartphone markets.

But there have been various reviews about 10 Or D2 for several months; trailing its final release. Let’s take a look at the 10. Or D2 specifications and see if it’s a smartphone you can consider buying since the price is low.

Display and Design

As every other budget smartphone has it, the 10 Or D2 has not much to say about its design and display features. But we can vouch for the device ability to stay simple and effective when you take a look at the design.

Notice the speaker grille at the back of the phone, as against the usual placing of the speaker at the bottom of most modern day smartphone.

The 10 Or D2 has 5.45-inch HD+ 18.9 aspect ratio LTPS screen. The screen resolution is 720 x 1440 pixels. This alone shows that the device is among the modern budget phones that allow users to have a better experience when watching a movie or playing a game on it.

Camera Features

There is a 13 MP camera to the rear of 10 Or D2 which does a good job of handling photos and shooting videos. To the front, you have a 5 MP camera which also does a nice but not excellent job. A user basically knows that the performance here has to be rational.

Make sure you use the camera in good lighting to get the best of it. When you shoot videos in good light, you are able to get 1080p@30fps. I really think this is okay, for those who can’t pay for an iPhone anyway.

Battery Life

Like some other devices, 10 Or D2 runs on 3200 mAh non-removable battery which when handled aright can last for many months. Understanding the phone make-up will not make anyone to push it so hard, opening too many pages and running too many applications all at once.

It has been said that battery life on 10 Or D2 can last almost two days if the phone is operated moderately. The chipset helps and HD+ resolution screen seems to enhance the battery life. There is no provision for wireless charging.

Hardware and Operating System

The 10 Or D2 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and at this time, we can’t assure you that this phone is one of those you can easily upgrade to the next-level Android. There are several Amazon apps inbuilt as well that the user just can’t uninstall.

The 10 Or D2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC and 1.4GHz quad-core processor. For the internal storage, there is 32GB of 3GB RAM expandable up to 128GB through the use of microSD.

Network Connectivity

The 10 Or D2 has provision for dual SIM, both GSM Nano SIM. SIM 1 is able to handle both 3G and 4G but SIM 2 is only able to handle 3G. Connectivity options are Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, Micro-USB, FM receiver radio, 3G and 4G LTE.

The sensors found on the device include a compass, magnetometer, proximity, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and gyroscope. There is no provision for infrared.

Price and Availability

The 10 Or D2 has been launched already but most smartphone shops both online and offline are not selling it yet. Check Amazon India shop and you may be fortunate to see it there.

In the following months, we expect that the phone will enter other Asian markets and find its way to the UK or USA. Some smartphone analysts say they wait to see how the device will match up to its peers.

Price for 10 Or D2 is starting at Rs 7,999 right now for the one with 3G RAM. The one that comes in 2G RAM sells for Rs 6,999. Maybe there will be changes to that later when it penetrates other foreign markets. We wait to confirm the true state of things.
