16-inch MacBook Pro is still difficult to fix

According to Engadget, the 16- inch MacBook Pro comes with a new scissor key mechanism that replaces the old butterfly style, but iFixit’s discovery notes that the internal components have many similarities with previous years’ MacBook Pro.

In addition to the revamped keyboard, the biggest changes this year include the battery and heat management system. The air vents are larger than the previous 15-inch model, while the internal cooling fan has larger blades that allow for higher performance. Meanwhile, the battery is similar to previous batteries, except that the battery is only slightly thicker to help increase 16.2 Wh of energy.

Sadly, Apple continues to make it difficult to repair a 16-inch MacBook Pro, essentially forcing users to rely on authorized Mac repair facilities. This means that if you intend to upgrade your new MacBook Pro component in the future freely, you have to choose another product.
