The Chinese manufacturer Alldocube has announced the Alldocube KNote X a new 2-in-1 with Windows 10 as the operating system. So far, however, only the equipment is known – a price is unfortunately not yet.
The new Alldocube KNote X is a 13.3-inch 2-in-1 with Windows, whose IPS display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixels has a high resolution. The device is powered by an Intel Celeron N4100 quad-core processor, which should at least be enough for everyday tasks together with 8 GB of RAM. Still, it would have been nicer to have bet on a faster Pentium Gold or Silver SoC.
After all, the internal memory of Alldocube KNote X is provided by a 128 GB SSD. Other features include two 5 and 2-megapixel cameras and a 5,500 mAh battery. Unfortunately, there are only a single USB-C port, a jack socket and a microSD slot on ports, although a separate DC port is also installed for charging.
Keyboard cover and stylus sold separately
To be able to use the 10.2 mm thin and 1,050-gram Alldocube KNote X productively, the purchase of the matching keyboard cover is actually mandatory. This is to provide a backlight, a kickstand, however, was integrated directly into the case of the tablet. In addition, by the way, a matching stylus will be sold, with the handwritten entries are possible.
Since the price of the Alldocube KNote X has not yet been announced, it is currently not possible to make a statement about how interesting the 2-in-1 is ultimate. If the device including the keyboard is priced in the entry-level range, an import might be interesting.
