Huawei Mate 20 Pro under the knife

At iFixit this week, the current Huawei Mate 20 Pro has been broken down into its small parts and, as always, a score for hobbyists published.

Anyone who likes to repair their smartphone themselves may know the iFixit team. There, you can disassemble smartphones and other gadgets and then look at how well they can be repaired. This has now been done with the new Huawei Mate 20 Pro and published a score.

The flagship of Huawei has to 4 points (10 is possible), which is ok – but nothing more. Again, as was so often glued and especially a display swap (one of the most vulnerable things on the smartphone) is not so easy. The exchange of the battery, however, is super easy.

More details and pictures of the teardown of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro are available at iFixit. Incidentally, the model has been split into Twilight.
