Apex Legends was the great surprise of Respawn and EA in early 2019, immediately emerging as a serious rival to Fortnite in this phenomenon we call Battle Royale games.
Until now, it would be hard to believe that some game would be able to face the giant Fortnite, but Apex Legends is proving the opposite. In just three days, it managed to exceed the mark of 10 million active players!
By comparison, the Epic Games Fortnite took about two weeks to achieve the same numbers. Respawn CEO Vince Zampella has already admitted that it was a great risk to launch a ‘surprise launch’, but the fantastic results of this strategy are in sight.

The whole theme of the game is based on the popular Titanfall, featuring a mix of elements from various popular titles such as Overwatch, Fortnite, and PUBG. In a very brief way, Apex Legends is a Battle Royale that will put you side by side with two other players in a fierce fight for survival.
Finally, with the surprise arrival of Apex Legends, many thought that this would be the replacement for Titanfall 3. However, this does not seem to be the case. Since EA has already confirmed that they are developing several other “experiences” related to the popular game. What’s more, Respawn is also developing a new game in the Star Wars saga.
