Apart from its all round rugged body, it has 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage space. There’s an octa-core processor with 4G LTE, it grants fast access with fingerprint as well. Without further ado, lets see what else the Evolveo StrongPhone G8 has to offer.
Design
It has an ergonomically designed body that’s attractive as well as being rugged. The device boasts of a solid protective inner frame that’s made from Titanium Alloy, providing more durability. The body also has MIL-STD-810G and IP68 certifications, offering dust, scratch and water resistant.
There’s a rubberised surface at the rear, which was screwed with four joints. At the top, we can see the rear camera with the fingerprint scanner underneath, while the LED flash is beside it. When you turn over to the sides, it measures 12mm in thickness and weighs 192g overall. It’s only available in Black.
Display
The G8 doesn’t come with the trending bezel-less screen, so bezel-less lovers will have to wait till the G9 comes out. However, the display isn’t that bad tho, it stretches up to 64.32% screen to body ratio, offering more screen than bezels overall. There’s also a LED notification light at the top bezel.
The 5.2-inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen displays like a budget smartphone no doubt. It has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and 282 pixel per inch density, but the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top provides greater screen protection.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, the MediaTek MT6750 chip takes charge with its Octa-Core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 8-Cores of processor here runs at a standard speed of 1.5GHz with 28nm process technothelogy. Handling graphics, the ARM Mali-T860 MP2 graphics processor clocks at 520MHz.
The 4GB of RAM space should handle all your heavy multitasking, it has a slower memory speed of 667MHz. In the storage department, the 64GB storage can accommodate your files, you can upgrade up to 128GB as well. The Evolveo StrongPhone G8 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with modified interface.
Camera
The 20MP rear camera is a SAMSUNG ISOCELL Sensor, coming with lots of features like Phase Detection with Dual Pixel, Dual-Core DSP, Ultra Clear Image, Professional Mode, Depth of Field, HDR,
ISO settings, Manual focus, Optical Stabilization (OIS), Optical Zoom, Panorama View and others. The camera also captures photographs with 5164 x 3873 pixels in dimension. There’s a 5MP shooter for selfies.
Battery
Powering the Evolveo StrongPhone G8 is a 3000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
