Intel Working on 10-Core Chip Comet Processors Scheduled for 2024

Tech company known as Intel in the United States is reportedly working on a 10-Core chip for its Comet Lake-S family of processors already in line for release in 2024.

This is a 10th generation Intel Core processor that will be based on the process technology 14nm node as attested to by a post on a Taiwanese forum that referenced the Comet Lake-S family.

The chipmaker builds an 8-core i9 CPU but now there are positive reasons for the company to get ready to move to a dual ring to assist with cooling. Take a look at the current high-end Core i9-9900K CPU, for it has been criticized for the thermal performance. As such, it would not be a surprise for Intel to take that step since for the organization, because that seems to be just right.

Nevertheless, this seems to be the crux of the matter at Intel, and it is a vital process as the Inquirer revealed or suggests that the chip could cost as much as $600 USD. Going further, there is the news that Intel is very much thinking of moving to 10nm chips in the year 2019 with its Cannon Lake chips and it is said that this on its own is quite interesting.

In a previous review of the Intel Core 9900K, it was emphasized that back in October 2018, experts praised the speedy video rendering and editing and the best clock speeds of all consumer CPUs.

This CPU offers underwhelming performance for video games, when compared with the competition and it requires a powerful cooler in order to prevent overheating, also, there is a lack of provision for over-clocking.

The Intel Core i9-9900K is an absolute powerhouse for video rendering and Photoshop at the price at which it arrives. Those who are forward-looking and are in the media should look ensure that they purchase this processor. Gamers may look elsewhere, so that they can find better value alternatives.

We are yet to see how fans worldwide will accept this 10-core processor. In 2019, both gamers and those who are power –crazy media professionals will look forward to upgrades and better ways to accomplish their chores.
