One of Chinese top phone manufacturers, LeEco, has a partnership with Coolpad, this joint effort produced devices like Cool 1 Dual and the Cool 1C. The latest device added to this mutual venture is the Coolpad Cool S1.
The Coolpad Cool S1 comes in two variants, it has the 4GB variant, and the massive 6GB variant. Both Variants comes with a massive 64GB internal memory, while the 6GB variant also has a 128GB internal memory, and as expected, there is bo external memory expansion.
The LeEco Coolpad Cool S1 has a metal body design , with a 5.5inch full HD display, with it’s resolution at 1080 × 1920 (401 ppi pixel density) and very tiny side bezels, the display has no extra protection like AMOLED or Gorilla glass.
The LeEco Coolpad Cool S1 has a Sony’s IMX298 16MP rear camera, with PDAF, EIS, BSI, and dual LED flashlight. The front camera of the LeEco Coolpad Cool S1 is 8MP.
The device comes with a 4,070 non removable battery, with fast charge capabilities. Running on Android 6.0 marshmallow out of the box, with LeEco’s eUI5.8 customized U.I. The usual connectivity expected in flagship devices are also present – 4G LTE, OTG, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB Type C port, which also supports the USB Type C headset, leEco ditched the standard 3.5mm headset jack on the Coolpad Cool S1. leEco added an extra adapter for people to comfortable use their 3.5mm headset. It should be noted that a Harman AKG headset with 3.5mm headset also comes with the leEco Coolpad. Underneath the rear camera, is a finger print sensor, and Underneath the device are two speaker grills.
The LeEco Coolpad Cool S1 also has dual sim and runs on Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core processor, clocked at 2.35GHz, along with the Adreno 530 GPU.
