The Phoenix Plus is LG’s latest smartphone with 4G LTE connectivity. As expected, there’s 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage space as well. Without further ado, lets meet the LG Phoenix Plus.
Design
The device looks a lot like most budget-friendly smartphones from the company. It has a Plastic removable back which has the AT&T and LG logo in place. There’s also a fingerprint scanner for quick access to the device.
Above the fingerprint scanner, we can see the LED flash, then the rear camera comes above the LED flash. Turning over to the sides, it measures 8.6mm in thickness and weighs 163g of overall. It was released in Black.
Display
LG didn’t bother reducing the bezels here a bit. You still get the older 16:9 aspect ratio screen even though there’s no physical navigation buttons at the bottom bezel. While the top houses the speaker grille and selfie camera.
It has a moderate 5.3-inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which displays in high detection. It has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and 277 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. The screen could only get up to 69% screen-to-body ratio as well.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, the Snapdragon 425 chip does the job underneath. Of course it was manufactured on an older 28nm process node and has 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.4GHz max. While the Adreno 308 graphics processor is in charge of graphics.
Multiasking of light apps shouldn’t be a problem with the 2GB of RAM space available, this has a memory speed of 667MHz. The storage space is pegged at 16GB strong and you can expand up to 128GB using a memory card. The LG Phoenix Plus runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
Camera
For photography, it has a single rear 8MP camera and a LED flash, the camera comes with other Internal features to enhance your photography skills. While the 5MP front camera at the top bezel takes selfies.
Battery
Powering the LG Phoenix Plus is a 3000mAh removable Li-Ion battery with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 2 hours.

Good phone. Really good cameras. Does everything. It can send to printer and coordinated with car phone. Great on the road when looking for hotels or gas stations. I just have a problem getting the back cover off. There is no little fingernail indentation. I want to put an SD chip in it and I am tearing up the metal trim around it.
The battery is NOT removeable! We have one, and that is what the LG user guide also states.
