ZTE is a Chinese telecommunication and IT-based company that produces its Android smartphone. Since Google has released the Android 12 Beta 1 update for its eligible Pixel devices, some devices under ZTE like the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra 5G will get an Android 12 update. Yes, the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra 5G is one of the latest flagship smartphones that will be getting an Android 12 update. The device runs on Android 11 on top of my 11 out-of-the-box. As you can see, there is no doubt it will receive the official Android 12 update. The next Android 12 OS version comes with new features in the notification shade, icons, themes, etc.
It also brings improved widgets, an audio-coupled haptic effect, AVIF image support, secure lock screen notifications, improved PiP mode, improved Android updates via Google Play, one-handed mode, better app privacy, double-tap options, improved settings interface, improved volume slider, media player UI changes and many more.
The Android 12 Beta offers access to interested and eligible device users. It also allows developers to test out their apps and optimizing them by sharing early feedback to the Android developers. For now, the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra 5G model is now officially eligible to receive the Android 12 Beta 1 update. The ZTE Nubia Z30 Pro is a powerful device from ZTE that comes with a Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888 5G chipset and runs on Nubia UI 9. It has a screen display size of 6.67 inches AMOLED that boasts 1B colors and a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The inbuilt memory is up to 512GB with a huge 16GB RAM.
On the camera, the handset comes with 64 MP plus another 64 MP, an 8 MP, and another 64 MP capable of recording 8K videos. It also features a large battery of 4200 mAh with fast charging.
The ZTE S30 Pro is another flagship smartphone from ZTE that will get the Android 12 updates. The phone comes with a nice body that features a 6.67 inches AMOLED display and powered by MyOS 11. It has Qualcomm SDM768 Snapdragon 768G 5G chipset with 256GB inbuilt memory and 8GB RAM. You will also get a good camera setup of 64 MP and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
ZTE Android 12 Release Date
Google will release the Android 12 official stable update in September 2021. After that, the rest of the Android smartphone OEMs will start pushing their firmware updates based on Android 12 to their eligible devices this year until Google releases the Android 13 update.
You should also note that ZTE doesn’t have any consistent software update policy. Nevertheless, we can expect that ZTE will start pushing the Android 12 beta to some of its devices by the end of 2021.
