Microsoft Reports About The New Bug “KB4512941” Found in Windows 10 Causing High CPU Usage

Microsoft has recently updated its support page to disclose the issue that Windows 10 users are facing after installing the cumulative update KB4512941 which released on 30th August 2019.

Few users have complained about the high CPU usage issue getting after installing the update. The High CPU usage leading to not working of Windows Search feature. According to Microsoft, these issues are related to SearchUI.exe and the users who have disabled searching the web using Windows Search are only experiencing this issue.

However, the fix for this issue is still not made. Microsoft is currently working on to release an update to fix this issue. The update is going to arrive sometime around the middle of September.

As KB4512941 is an optional update, it will not get automatically installed on the Windows 10 running systems. So, it didn’t affect many of the users. Basically, this update is a non-security update and was released to prevent high CPU usage when a user switches between apps or hovers over the taskbar.

The other fix includes Spatial Audio issues when playing games, black screen issue which appears during Remote Desktop Connections, prevents from showing blank tiles on the START Menu etc.

It is to be noted that high CPU usage is a common issue experienced by most of the Windows users. There would be many reasons leading to high CPU usage.
