MWC 2024, ZTE in the limelight – presented Axon 10 Pro 5G and Blade V10

ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G and ZTE Blade V10 were announced on Monday 25 February, on the sidelines of the Mobile World Congress 2019 that is taking place in Barcelona these days.

The company has not provided too much detail on the 5G smartphone, apart from the fact that it will be powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor along with the Snapdragon X50 5G modem. The company has also revealed the presence of a triple rear camera and a “notch” in the shape of a water drop (style waterdrop, ed). Instead, ZTE Blade V10 has been unveiled almost entirely, although the price and availability, as well as the chipset details, are not currently available.

ZTE, while not providing concrete information on the release of these two phones, has however revealed a “timeline” for ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G, which will be available in China and Europe in the first half of 2019.

In the image released together with the press release that revealed the presence of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, are clearly shown the rear camera configuration, the in-display fingerprint sensor, and the “notch” waterdrop. The camera has several functions based on artificial intelligence, such as motion capture and scene recognition. The company is also advertising the audio industry as “extraordinary”.

ZTE Blade V10, which will come with a full-HD + (1080 × 2280) 6.3-inch display, will be available in two variants – 3 GB of RAM + 32 GB of built-in memory and 4 GB of RAM + 64 GB of memory incorporated. Storage is expandable via microSD card in a dual-SIM hybrid configuration. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS / A-GPS, USB Type-C and a  3.5mm headphone jack . Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, a digital compass, a gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. Also, present a fingerprint sensor. To equip this device we find a 3,200 mAh battery.
