A few days ago, Xiaomi officially announced that it had appointed a new Vice President of the group and the Chief Marketing Officer of China. The person appointed was Yang Zhe. Now, one of the first responsibilities of the newly appointed senior executive includes the Mi Mix 4 and Yang Zhe will handle it personally. If you didn’t know, Yang Zhe has previously worked with other popular brands including Meizu and TLC.
A new report claims that Yang Zhe will be heading the launch of Xiaomi’s latest flagship phone, the Mi Mix 4. We have been anticipating the release of this phone for some time now and when the phone is launched, it will be the successor of the Mi Mix 3 which was released 2 years ago.
Although Xiaomi has teased the Mi Mix Alpha a lot, we doubt that the phone will ever see a commercial launch. There is a chance, however, the Mi Mix 4 will come with some of its highlighting features.
There have been reports in the past that claimed that the Mi Mix 4 will come with a hyperbolic screen on the front with a 120Hz refresh rate. There have also been rumors that the phone will come in a Pro and base version. Unfortunately, the company hasn’t made any official announcements to confirm any of the rumors. But since Yang Zhe has been immediately assigned such a crucial smartphone, the launch of the Mi Mix 4 may not be so far away after all. But in the meantime, stay tuned for more.
