OPPO Reno – no wireless charging and SuperVOOC, will support VOOC 3.0

Reno identifies the new OPPO smartphone line and will debut next April 10th. In recent days official sources and unconfirmed rumors have helped to outline the outlines, suggesting, among other things, the possible arrival of two models. Shen Yiren, vice president of the Chinese company today provides more details on battery charging technologies.

In summary, no wireless chargingno SuperVOOC, but support for VOOC 3.0 technology. On the first little to add, while for completeness of the information we remind you that the SuperVOOC is supported by some previously introduced OPPO smartphones – specifically the RX17 Pro and the Lamborghini version of the Find X – and that allows you to complete the complete top-up operations of the battery in about 35 minutes.

The Reno smartphones will have to be satisfied with the VOOC 3.0 – for the moment the manager simply points out that the times for the complete recharge of the battery (from 1% to 100%) are 23.8% lower than those used using the previous VOOC version 2.0 . The VOOC 3.0 recharge started with the recent Oppo F11 Pro, which uses an increasingly less common micro USB connector instead of the USB-C one – it is hoped that this choice will not be repeated with the Reno range.

No news (officially confirmed) in terms of the remaining technical features of the Reno smartphones, which should include, at least in the most equipped variant- SoC Snapdragon 855, a camera with 10x optical zoom and 4.065 mah battery.
