OPPO has just released the new Reno models globally. They are good gadgets and arriving in Europe very soon. In practice, there are three models, the Reno, the Reno 10x Zoom and the Reno 5G to meet the needs of each user and the wallets as well.
The OPPO Reno 10x is undoubtedly one of the most special!
The differences are not only in the cameras as the name lets you guess. This model comes with a Snapdragon 855 chipset, rather than the Snapdragon 710; because to handle the cameras you really need a powerful processor. At the design level, although with some similarities, there are also differences.
The 10x zoom model comes with a 6.65-inch AMOLED screen. The standard model is less one inch, that is, 6.4. The two are virtually frameless.
Reno family models use a 16-megapixel front-facing pop-up camera.
The location of the power button on the right and the volume buttons on the left have the same location on both devices.
However, both models come with USB Type-C ports.
It is on the back panel that we have the most significant differences between the two models. As you might imagine the biggest highlight of the 10x model is the zoom hybrid.
Three rear cameras stand out. A sensor has 48 megapixels. The other is a 13-megapixel periscopic lens. And the last is an ultra-wide 8-megapixel sensor.
However, this model uses dual-image optical stabilization and can take 10x zoom photos without a tripod with all the quality.
This model is available with 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage capacity.
The standard model does not have this 10x zoom. It also has a main camera of 48 megapixels that joins to another of 5. It has a configuration of a double camera, as opposed to the model with a zoom of 10x that has three.
This model is available in two variants. So, they are 6GB + 128GB of storage and 8GB + 256GB. Supports fast charging, thanks to proprietary VOOC 3.0 technology.
At the functionality level, we have two more differences between the 10x zoom model and the standard. The top has Dolby Audio and a larger battery.
We now come to the OPPO Reno 5G. This global launch only happens due to a partnership of this manufacturer with some European operators. The Reno 5G is based on the 10x Zoom version. An interesting aspect is that this will be the first 5G device to be available in Europe.
However, at the price level, the Reno begins at 500 Euros and will be available from 10 May. The 10x zoom edition costs 800 Euros and arrives in early June. On the other hand, the 5G Reno will cost about 900 Euros.
