Oppo sub-brand Realme has quietly introduced the Realme 6S, which is the cheaper version of the Realme 6 smartphone. The good news is that the phone still packs the same processing features, similar display, and battery capacity. The downgrade is mostly on the camera and storage. Design And Display
The Realme 6S packs a decent body design that is built with premium plastic. Yes, both the back and frame are built with plastic while the front features to glass. The device has a nice and smooth panel that is housing the cameras and an LED flash. The fingerprint scanner is on the side. It measures 162.1 x 74.8 x 8.9 mm in dimensions and weighs 191 grams.
On the front, Realme 6S has a punch hole on the top left side with a screen size of 6.5 inches and a small bezel on the bottom screen. It makes use of an IPS LCD that produces a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 20:9 ratio, and 405 ppi density. The display packs a Gorilla Glass 3 protection with 480 nits typ. brightness and 90Hz refresh rate.

Camera Features
On the camera, the device has a 48 MP camera instead of the 64 MP on the standard model. The camera is accompanied by 8 MP ultrawide shooter, a 2 MP macro camera, and another 2 MP depth camera. It features LED flash, HDR, panorama and can still record the same 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps, gyro-EIS video. The front camera is 16 MP which is the same found on the Reame 6.
When it comes to performance, the Realme 6S will still perform well despite the price reduction. This is because the maker equipped the device with Mediatek MT6785 Helio G90T chipset. The chip has an octa-core processor running at 2×2.05 GHz speed. It still has Mali-G76 MC4 for graphics and it runs on Android 10 OS with Realme UI on top.
Storage Capacity And Sensors
The Realme 6S has an onboard storage of 64GB with 4GB RAM. The memory is expandable via a micro SDcard. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint reader with other sensors like accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
Battery Power And Network Connectivity
The Realme 6S packs a non-removable battery of 4300 mAh with fast charging technology. It does not come with 5G; instead you will get 4G network and other regulars like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, FM radio, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS and 2.0, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, USB On-The-Go.

64Mp or 48MP, the resolution doesn’t matter as long as the pictures quality remains intact! So glad that it still integrates the major features of Realme 6 like the Helio G90T gaming processor by Mediatek, mega 4300mAh battery and Android 10 OS
