Design And Display
Just as mentioned above, the Galaxy A40S features similar body design with the Galaxy M30 smartphone. It has a smooth panel that house triple rear cameras with an LED flash and a fingerprint sensor. The handset is blessed with a teardrop notch that offers a large screen display size of 6.4-inch FHD+ Super-AMOLED. The notch is where the selfies snapper is hidden and the Infinity-U display will deliver clear visuals. It measures 8.5mm in thickness and weighs 174 gram which is still okay considering the massive battery on the inside.
Camera Features
On the camera department, the Galaxy A40S packs four cameras set-up. On the back, the phone offers a triple rear cameras set-up featuring 13MP snapper with an f/1.9 aperture and PDAF, a secondary 5MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and lastly, a 5MP depth lens with an f/2.2 aperture. Both sensors coming together will deliver 4k and 1080p videos at 30fps and they have other features that include LED flash, HDR and Panorama.

Behind the wheel is a Samsung built Exynos 7904 which has octa-core processor that clocked at a speed of 1.8GHz alongside a Mali-G71 MP2 GPU for graphics related issues.
The handset is built with Samsung’s Experience UI that based on Android 8.1 Oreo Operating System. The phone will soon get an upgrade to Android 9.0 Pie operating system.
Storage Capacity And Sensors
On the memory configuration, the Galaxy A40s is available in two inbuilt storage.
The first has 4GB RAM with an internal memory of 64GB, while the second has huge 6GB RAM with an inbuilt storage of 128GB. Thankfully they support micro SD card for expansion but not beyond 512GB.
