Samsung will apparently put on the Galaxy S10 on the Exynos 9820, which should be equipped with a dual-core NPU.
New Galaxy S flagship, new Exynos processor. In 2019, the Exynos 9820 is due, but not yet announced by Samsung. I think we will see it again at the CES in January, like last year.
The new chip should come with a dual-core NPU (Neuromorphic processor) therefore. Huawei also relies on the Kirin 980 and the upcoming Exynos 9820 will of course also be manufactured in a 7 nm process.
Samsung wants to use the “AI power” of the chip primarily for the camera in the Galaxy S10 and thus optimize the result. I think we’ll hear and see an AI on stage one or two times on the Galaxy S10. The topic is becoming more and more important for smartphone manufacturers.
