Samsung will present the new Exynos 9820 next week, here are the possible specifications

We are almost there. Samsung could present next week the new SoC Exynos 9820, the chip that we will find on the next top of the range (the Galaxy S10) of the Korean house. The presentation event will be held next November 14th. The invitation reads the motto “Intelligence from within” or “Intelligence inside“, which can be considered as a clear reference to the new AI that will characterize the SoC from Samsung.

The new Exynos 9820 from Samsung will be made with a production process at 7 nm (like the Kirin 980 of Huawei and the Apple A12 Bionic) and should present an Octa-Core CPU that should consist of 2 M4 Mongoose fourth-generation cores, 2 Cortex-A75 or A76 cores and 4 Cortex-A55 cores.

Among the novelties of the new Samsung SoC there will also be a new generation GPU that could be the new Mali-G76 MP18 able to ensure a significant performance upgrade (the GPU should be 1.5 times faster than the previous generation). It should be noted that the new production process will allow a 30% reduction in energy consumption.

The new Exynos 9820 will officially debut on the market only next year. For now, therefore, we just have to wait for the actual official presentation, scheduled as said on November 14, to find out all the details on the new chip of the Korean house.
