Tecno Camon X Pro VS Infinix Hot 6 Pro – Which smartphone will you buy?

Tecno Camon X Pro VS Infinix Hot 6 Pro – Which smartphone will you buy? Tecno Mobile and Infinix Mobility are the leading smartphone makers in the African market. The competition is pretty intensive between the two Chinese OEM companies. Tecno, Infinix and iTel are brands under a company called Transsion Holdings. Just the way Apple and Samsung are leading in the overall smartphone market, is the same way Tecno and Infinix are leading in the African market.

Few weeks ago, Tecno Mobile released the Tecno Camon X and Camon X Pro. Phones under the Camon series are known for their selfie quality and has been leading in the African market for a while. For Infinix to stay competitive, they came out with the Infinix Hot 6 and Hot 6 Pro few days ago. Both flagships have their strength and weakness, which is what we will be discussing in this article. The Tecno Camon X Pro and Infinix Hot 6 Pro will be taken into consideration here. Let us find out which one of them is best suited for users and offers value for money.

The Tecno Camon X Pro and Infinix Hot 6 Pro have a slightly similar design. Though I prefer the Tecno Camon X Pro’s design, the design on the smartphone is the best work Tecno has done in a while. There is a metal line at the top and bottom back of the smartphone. The Tecno Camon X Pro comes with a front glass and polycarbonate unibody. While the Infinix Hot 6 Pro has a plastic unibody with front glass.

The position of the rear camera and LED flash with the fingerprint sensor is the same on both smartphones. Their rear camera is in a vertical position with LED flash at the top left corner. While the fingerprint sensor is at the center just above their respective brand names. The Infinix Hot 6 Pro features a dual rear camera while the Camon X Pro has a single rear camera. • It doesn’t have dual rear cameras so bokeh(the blurry background thingy) will be next to nonexistent. The smaller a camera sensor is, the harder it becomes to produce images with shallow depth of field (bokeh). The tiny sensors of smartphones wouldn’t be able to produce DSLR-level bokeh without an additional camera. One of the cameras (the one with the higher megapixel count) would focus on your main subject while the other camera would focus far away from the subject, throwing everything out of focus. The two images would then be combined by some software wizardry to simulate the shallow depth of field look. So CX Pro wouldn’t be able to do the blurry background thingy.
