Design
You can hardly tell the body was made from Plastic till you get to hold it. Polished to perfection, the Xgody X20 is one of the most stunning device that was made from plastic. The gold-like touches sure adds to the beauty, as the Xgody logo was engraved at the bottom in white.
It sports a rear loudspeaker which is at the bottom left corner. The rear camera, LED flash and fingerprint scanner forms a vertical train at the top middle. Moving to the sides, the volume keys are by the left while the power button is by the right as it measures 9 mm slim. Furthermore, the stunning device is available in Black, Gray and Gold.
Display
Bezels are everywhere at the front, it could barely reach a 63.12% screen to body ratio. Funny enough it has no navigation buttons, so i see no reason why the screen couldn’t be expanded. The top bezel is obviously occupied by the selfie camera, speaker grille, LED flash and ambient light sensor.
The 5-inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen might look small in this modern time. Nevertheless, it boasts of 1280 x 720 pixels in resolution and 294 pixel per inch density for brilliant visuals. The portable screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio and supports multi-touch.
Hardware and Software
Running the race here is the MediaTek MT6580M chipset with 4-cores of processor. The Quad-core processor reaches a maximum speed of 1.3 GHz. It has a 28nm process technology, 32-bit CPU architecture and a Mali-400 MP1 graphics processor that clocks at 500 MHz.
It boasts of a standard 1GB RAM space for multitasking, the RAM has a memory speed of 533MHz. Store up all files and games in the 16GB storage space, the space is also upgradeable up to 32GB by inserting a memory card in the SIM Slot 2. The X20 houses the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with modified user interface.
Camera
For photography, the 8MP rear camera with LED flash underneath can capture 3K resolution images. Photos will look like they were taken with the typical 8MP camera from most budget smartphones. Photographs should boast of 3266 x 2449 pixels in dimension, while you can record videos of 720 pixels at 30 frames per second. Selfies can be taken with the 5MP front shooter that comes with a LED flash.
Battery
Powering the Xgody X20 up is a 2500mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery with no fast charging technology support. Charging up the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take more than 2.4 hours tops.
