Lenovo announced the Lenovo Z6 Pro flagship smartphone on April 23rd, and it is powered by the Snapdragon 855. Since it was announced, Lenovo has made the phone available for reservations. Sales of the Lenovo Z6 Pro are scheduled to begin on April 29th. According to the company, 200,000 units of the phone are confirmed to have been registered just 24 hours after it was announced. That’s how popular the Lenovo Z6 Pro since it arrived in China with its pricing started at 2,899 Yuan (~$430).
Users can now register for the Lenovo Z6 Pro via platforms such as Lenovo’s official online store, Tmall and Jimgdong Mall. The phone will hit the Chinese market in four variants.
The 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant of the Lenovo Z6 Pro comes with a price tag of 2,899 Yuan (~$430) while the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant costs 2,999 Yuan (~$445). The 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage version is priced at 3,799 Yuan (~$545). The most powerful and expensive version of the phone which is the 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage variant has a price tag of 4,999 Yuan (~$743). There are two color variants of the phone including Red and Green.
Lenovo Z6 Pro Specifications
The phone features a 6.39-inch AMOLED display which has a waterdrop-style notch. It produces full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. A fingerprint sensor is embedded beneath the display.
The Snapdragon 855 chipset powers all four variants of the phone. It also comes with Android 9 Pie out of the box with a ZUI 11 skin. The phone comes with an Ultra Game Mode which features accelerated graphics and CPU performance while gaming. It also comes with Coldfront PC-level liquid cooling for heat dissipation.
On the rear, the Lenovo Z6 Pro features four cameras including a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 16MP ultra wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, an 8MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and 2MP dedicated video camera. On the front, the phone sports a 32MP selfie shooter. There is also a ToF 3D camera on the phone. It also packs a 4000 mAh battery which comes with 27W rapid charging support.
