Design & Display
The Voyo V2 is a beautifully designed ultrabook with a number of exciting features. First off, the build of the device is of high quality with some plastic elements – especially those on the keyboard. Like most other ultrabooks, the screen on the Voyo V2 can also be turned in 180 degrees. The V2 measures 287 x 196 x 20mm and weighs about 1.24kg.
This ultrabook computer has an 11.6-inch Full HD display that gives really vivid colors. Aspect ratio on the Voyo V2 is 16:9, which is basically much the norm with ultrabooks. The Voyo V2 display also has stylus support.
Hardware, OS & Performance
It is quite disappointing that there is no type-C USB port on this ultrabook. However, you get a USB v2.0 slot with one USB v3.0 port; a mini-HDMI slot is also present on the Voyo V2. Amazingly, there is also one SIM Card slot on the V2.
Under the hood is an Intel Apollo Lake N3450 quad-core processor with maximum clock speed of 1.1GHz. This is complemented by an Intel HD Graphics 500 graphics processor. This processor offers improved performance over the Intel Atom that is common with cheap ultrabooks.
There’s 4gigs of low-powered RAM and 64GB of ROM. You also have the option of expanding to a further 256GB via a microSD card.
This device has the Windows 10 OS running on it. As such, you get access to a vast array of desktop apps and games.
Camera, Battery & Connectivity
On the front of the screen is a 2.0MP camera for video chatting and possibly selfies.
The Voyo V2 packs a massive 12,000mAh battery. This battery capacity should be enough to last you for a day. Charging time for the battery is around 5 hours.
For connectivity, the V2 comes with Bluetooth 4.0 and dual band WiFi support.
In conclusion, the Voyo V2 is a pretty nice ultrabook with average specifications and for under $300, this device should be just enough for the average laptop user.
