A few days back we mentioned that Huawei’s Y9 range will receive a new element called Huawei Y9s. Today, the complete list of the smartphone appeared on Huawei’s official website.

The Huawei Y9s has the same 6.59-inch FHD + Ultra FullView display as the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 released in the first half of this year. It also bets on the design of the selfie pop-up camera. However and despite some similarities, there have been some design changes.
The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint reader built into the power button. However, at the rear, we have triple rear cameras that share the same space. In terms of color, this device has abandoned the two-tone design and features a Midnight Black finish and a color-changing Breathing Crystal.
Huawei has replaced the 16MP sensor of the Prime model with a 48MP sensor with f / 1.8 aperture. We also have an 8MP wide-angle camera with aperture and a 120 ° field of view. Also worth mentioning is a 2MP depth sensor with f / 2.4 aperture. The selfie camera is the same as Prime. That said, we have a 16MP sensor, but with an f / 2.2 aperture.
The Huawei Y9s is powered by the same Kirin 710F processor and has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. They can be expanded through a MicroSD card slot (maximum 512 GB). This smartphone has a 4000mAh battery that supports 10W charging via a Type-C USB port.
Huawei will make this smartphone available with EMUI 9.1. This version is based on Android Pie. Although without official confirmation, the Huawei Y9s should be released soon and should be priced higher than the Y9 Prime 2019 as a result of the updated camera and the increased amount of RAM.
It seems to be good equipment. However, success will be defined by price.
