Games such as Warcraft 3 – Reforged and World of warcraft are promising at least something new and very simple. They want to make players’ nostalgic memories updated. Furthermore, they want it to look like 4K modern marvels. If this is anything to go by, at least team Blizzard has shown that at the Blizzcon 2018 event.
Looking further, you will see that there’s more to the Warcraft 3 – Reforged game, as some things about it have changed significantly. It appears that the main reason for that is Blizzard is altering the games’ locations, and narrative angles to bring both Warcraft 3 and World of Warcraft together.

The Culling, which is the sixth chapter of Warcraft 3’s scourge of Lordaeron campaign. It sees a pre-Lich King Arthas slaughter in the citizens of Stratholme in an attempt to prevent the city from falling prey to the plague of Undeath.
This is an iconic moment in the Arthas story, and one of the Warcraft 3 most memorable missions. But if you visit Stratholme now in Warcraft 3, it no longer looks as it used to be in Warcraft 3, without the reforged. If you have seen the city of Stratholme in World of Warcraft it could still be a little familiar.
The reforged Warcraft 3 is giving players the opportunity to look at how the world has evolved since World of Warcraft made it robust and not just the game outlay but also the characters. So, here we get a chance to reconcile both games. Of course, the creators have looked deeply about the layout of both games and come forth with something that seems judicious. The Culling received most of the revamps at this time.
The revised version of the city of Stratholme features new locations from the World of Warcraft. There are familiar locations here – the main gates, the Bastion of the Silver Hand, and Alonsus Chapel. Over-all, the inclusion of World of Warcraft locations and story in Warcraft 3 – Reforged is fascinating. We are not sure whether players will receive the make-over happily or complain about these updates. Also, it remains to be seen whether those two sides can exist in harmony.
