So BQ with this new BQ BQ-5514G Strike Power has reinforced its resolve to be the pioneer in inventing 3G Android phones with fingerprint scanners. That is a good thing for other 3G Android phone manufacturers to take note of.

However, this BQ BQ-5514G Strike Power seems to be on the high side when it comes to the price which we shall discuss later in this article. In addition to that, it comes with MediaTek MT6580P chipset which comes with process technology 28nm, 32-bit architecture. Moreover, the CPU is 1.3 GHz Quad-core Cortex A7, and the GPU is Mali 400 MP2.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

Furthermore, the smartphone is entitled to 1GB of RAM which is not able to expand no matter what. At the internal storage level, it has 8GB space. It can be increased to 128GB with a micro-SD card. There are three sensors in the phone in form of accelerometer, proximity, and light.

Network and Connectivity

The BQ BQ-5514G Strike Power is supported by GSM and HSPA and there is no 4G LTE in this smartphone. So it has 2G and 3G available for internet connectivity. This makes the device a 3G compliant mobile device that has dual nano SIM card slot.

Also, network supports of BQ BQ-5514G Strike Power are Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, headphone jack and micro USB 2.0. As easily seen, there is no HDMI, NFC and infrared in this phone.

The battery of the phone is good at a Li-Po 5000 mAh non-removable that has no wireless charging and no fast charging technology. Talk time and standby time are not specified.
