There are less than two months to the presumed launch event of the new top of the range Samsung but unexpected detail appears on the net, to reveal the well-known leaker Ice Universe that under the tree has decided to leave us only two words- Galaxy S20. We thought we knew almost everything about the Korean house programs, with the Galaxy S11 and S11 + already partially outlined in design and multimedia capabilities, but this new detail could change the cards on the table.
As said, it is an anticipation devoid of details, but the leaker is quite reliable and hardly missed the shot, so let’s try to understand what the possible scenarios are.
THE FIRST- NOMENCLATURE CHANGE, FROM GALAXY S11 TO GALAXY S20
2020 is the year of the transition to the second decade, from Galaxy S10 to Galaxy S11 but it is not said that Samsung wants to take this road and maybe decide to simply change the nomenclature starting from the Galaxy S20. It is not to be excluded, it would be a minimal variation to the program that we already know and a continuation in a decade that could make sense.
THE SECOND- NEW CATEGORY OF TOP OF THE RANGE BUT FOLDING
This option is the least likely and involves the launch of a new category of leaflets; Samsung has already officially announced its intention to create different designs in 2024 for the new Folds, it cannot be excluded that they can be called differently and maybe start again from Galaxy S20.

Waiting for more information, we prefer to think that S20 is the new start for the S11 series starting from the new year.
