Microsoft’s package game service, Xbox Game Pass, has begun to become attractive for Xbox and PC players with the ongoing additions of games. Microsoft has invested heavily in Xbox Game Pass, especially in the past year. Agreements are still being made with third-party developers to diversify the content available on the platform and bring the best games to Xbox Game Pass. However, several game studios were also purchased.
Recently, it was said that Cyberpunk 2077, the most anticipated game of the year, will be included in the Xbox Game Pass. The relatively affordable prices of Game Pass and the news that Cyberpunk 2077 will be included excited the gamers. However, Radek Grabowski, CD Projekt Red’s Leading Public Relations Manager, explained that this was not the case, and ended the discussion.
I don’t know. Let’s just use Cyberpunk as an example. MS pays to get it on GP day one, but it’s still available on Stadia, PC, and PlayStation for $60. And Microsoft doesn’t have to pay to replace the missed revenue from PS — only Xbox. And maybe only for three months.

In fact, this does not mean that Cyberpunk 2077 will never be added to the Xbox Game Pass. The Witcher 3, developed by CD Projekt Red, was added to this service about six months ago. However, this development occurred many years after the official announcement. So we can assume that Cyberpunk 2077 can follow a similar path.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 19, unless there is a delay. In the meantime, let’s remind that the game will only support DirectX 12 on the PC side.
