The mobile market to play games has gained strength in 2024 without a doubt. The leading brands have wanted to design specific proposals trying to attract a very lucrative audience, the gamers.
But until now we have not seen the minor Chinese brands create proposals with this approach. The first has been Doogee, who has done it with a pretty striking approach.
The Doogee S70 is a shock and liquid resistant smartphone that also has accessories and software designed to play.

A slightly rough and aggressive design
Unless they told us something about it, the Doogee S70 would pass through another mobile among those who presume to be very resistant.
The aesthetic is quite aggressive and visible glass and metal in its housing, at least massively. The weight is also considerable, and it exceeds 270 grams.
In the rear area we see its dual camera and the fingerprint sensor, in a configuration reminiscent of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
All this is justified when we see that resistance is one of its strengths. In addition to being able to suffer accidental dives thanks to the IP68 certification, we have military impact resistance, by meeting the MIL-STD-810G standard.
Game mode and dedicated accessory
But the strength of this model is the games. Doogee has designed a physical button that serves to activate the Game Mode, in which we will not have interruptions. It will also activate the cooling system that is under the area of the camera, capable of reducing the temperature of the mobile up to 7 degrees centigrade.
Also, control will be offered that is very similar to that of the Black Shark, which gives the smartphone physical controls, something important when we are playing at advanced levels.
Acceptable power and good connectivity
The processor of this model is not one of the most powerful that we can find, although it is enough. We are talking about Mediatek Helium P23, an eight-core chip at 2.5 GHz.
We have 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, and we can expand it with micro SD cards.
The screen is 5.99 inches and has a ratio of 18 – 9, with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 px. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and can be worn with gloves.
Its rear camera is 12 Mpx and has a support of 5 Mpx. The front is 16 Mpx.
One of the reasons why the phone weighs so much is its battery. Nothing less than 5500 mAh with a fast charge of 12V / 5A and also wireless charging.
Among the most unexpected details are the USB C port or the NFC chip for mobile payments.
Price and availability
For now, Doogee has not advanced the price of this model, but it is certainly cheaper than the rest of mobile gaming that we have seen to date. It is expected to go on sale in August.
It will be available in black, with details in orange, black or red.
