The Doogee Y8 is the latest budget phone from a Chinese OEM that try to copy other brands with a teardrop notch and curved edges. The phone still has some bezel on the bottom of the screen. The Homtom C8, on the other hand, is one of the most affordable mid-range smartphones with a neat body designed. We will compare head to head the Doogee Y8 with the Homtom C8 to see which one will perform better and also has a nice body design.

Doogee Y8 VS Homtom C8- Design Comparison

The Doogee Y8 is built with a Polycarbonate material and it manages to squeeze out a notch in a teardrop shape on the front. The handset measures 75.25 mm x 156.8 mm x 9 mm in dimensions and weight 150 gram. The Homtom C8, on the other hand, is built with a combination of metal and plastic. It lacks a notch but features a nice body design with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. Both phones are available in two colors variant.

The Doogee Y8 is powered by Android 9.0 Pie operating system, while the Homtom C8 is powered by Android 8.1 Oreo.

In terms of performance and design, the Doogee Y8 has the point while in terms of camera, the Hotom C8 has the point and the phone is also more affordable as well.
The Doogee Y8 will make a good budget phone while the Homtom C8 will be perfect for those under $100 budget.
