E&L D58 Specs Review, 6.18in screen Size, Price, 2520MAH Battery

The E&L D58 has dropped in the same month of July that the D63 arrived in the market. However, this phone is not as powerful as the D63. It is an example of a real entry-level smartphone. Even in the storage side it also shows that it is indeed a big cutback. But for the design, the look of the phone portrays it as a top quality device as anyone who cares to notice will find. Like many of E&L products, this smartphone arrives devoid of fingerprint sensor and NFC.

E&L D58 Design and Display

This E&L D58 is made of plastic. Dimensions are 72 x 147 x 9.4 mm and it weighs in grams is not specified. It is not a waterproof phone but it arrives multiple sensors. The colors of this device are red, green, and blue. These are fine colors that buyers will find attractive.

On the display, we find that it is IPS capacitive touchscreen glass. The size of the display is 6.18 inches, while the resolution is 480 x 996 which does not seem to me to be a good enough resolution for a screen this large. Also noted is the regular 16 million colors in the display, there is also multi-touch experience, and for protection, there is 2.5D curved glass screen such as you can find on most of the E&L phones. The pixel density is 195 ppi.

Camera Features

This is a dual camera phone. The main rear camera is 6.18 MP. This camera is able to handle 2592 x 1944 pixels images, while the capacity of the video is 1920 x 1080 pixels. For selfies, there is a 4.92 MP front camera which also arrives in its own unique manner. However, truth is it doesn’t do any justice to the display of the smartphone at all, although there several good features found in both cameras.

Hardware and Software

E&L D58 runs on Android 9.0 Pie. It surely can update to any future Android, for it is a smartphone released in 2024, and is the latest Android. In the same way, this smartphone is also powered by the MediaTek MT6580 chipset. The CPU is ARM Cortex A53, 1500 MHz, Cores- 4. But the GPU is ARM Mali T820 MP1 680 MHz.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

E&L D58 smartphone storage capacity is not impressive because the storage is a simple 1GB of RAM which the user is unable to expand. At the internal storage, we find 8GB and this can be increased with the use of MicroSD. There are three sensors here in this mobile phone and they are proximity, light, and accelerometer.

Network and Connectivity

The E&L D58 brings along all the features of a 4G Android smartphone along with all other components such as Bluetooth, Wifi, GPS, micro USB 2.0, headphone jack, and the like. Interestingly, this mobile phone too is able to switch over from 2G to 3G or 4G as it does when searching for the best available network present in a certain location. The phone makes use of two micro SIM cards.

Battery Power

Powering the E&L D58 device is Li-Po 2520 mAh battery which is non-removable. That’s a good thing for periodic power backup. Further, there is no wireless charging and no fast charging. Of course, for a smartphone this large, I don’t expect the battery to provide adequate backup for the user.

Pros

Large screen good for watching movies or playing games

Cons

Poor display resolutions

Mediocre camera features

Poor battery power

Price and Availability

E&L D58 smartphone official price is not stipulated. Check online for the best price or you may be fortunate to find a bonanza or price slash when you want to purchase it. As for availability, the smartphone is fresh out from the factory and may not be available everywhere you look.
